Hiya. Lately, I’ve been posting YouTube videos of other people demonstrating chess strategies and openings. So, I thought I’d share the purpose of the Colle and the way I play it:
Usually, I do d4, then N3, e3, Bd3, O-O, Nbd2, and then try to push the e pawn. It gives white an opportunity to take the center and possibly a fork depending on what black does.

I don’t think I ever tried this opening, but it seems interesting and effective for black. Maybe I’ll give it try. In the meantime I hope you find it useful.
